One dead, six injured in Snohomish County rollover crash

ARLINGTON, WA – One person died and six people were injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 last night.

According to KOMO News, the accident happened before 7:40 p.m. near the Stillaguamish River when a Dodge Durango swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle. The Dodge rolled over multiple times, ejecting one of the seven people inside.

One of the Dodge’s passengers died at the scene, and the other occupants were taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The identities and current conditions of the victims have not yet been made public.

Authorities closed multiple lanes of the interstate for the investigation of the collision.
