SEATTLE, WA – Washington State Troopers responded to a six-car pileup on Interstate 5 near Joint Base Lewis-McChord on Tuesday afternoon that luckily did not injure anyone involved.
So this occurred earlier. If you were stuck on south I-5 near JBLM this 6 car pileup was the reason. No injuries amazingly. 5 of the 6 had to be towed. Make sure you leave extra room for abrupt stopping. pic.twitter.com/SofsvsrdO3

WSP Trooper Ryan Burke reported the incident through Twitter around 6:45 p.m. Photos from the scene show six cars that crashed end-to-end after a pickup truck rear-ended the car in front of it, setting off a chain reaction.
No one was injured, but five of the cars needed to be towed away. The collision caused a backup on I-5.
