Naches, Washington – Truck Rolls into River After Driver Falls Asleep

Naches, Washington(August 12, 2019) – A truck fell into the Tieton River after the driver fell asleep while driving. No injuries have been reported in the incident so far, and no other vehicles were involved.

The truck head and a trailer has been removed at the scene, with officials saying that they will be removing the last trailer. The accident caused Highway 12 to be closed in both directions at milepost 183, with another hard closure at milepost 178.
