Multiple lanes blocked by crash near Lynnwood Transit Center

LYNNWOOD, WA – Multiple freeway lanes were blocked after a traffic accident on Interstate 5 near the Lynnwood Transit Center on Monday morning.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation, the accident happened in the left-hand lanes of southbound I-5 at about 7:30 a.m.
Authorities blocked off one left lane as well as an HOV lane near the exit to the Lynnwood Transit Center.
The emergency response did include an ambulance.
Traffic slowed and backed up in the remaining open lanes.
