KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — One person was hurt late Wednesday night after a four-vehicle collision involving an overturned semi-truck on Interstate 90 near Easton, reports KIRO 7 News.

Washington State Patrol responded to the scene on I-90 four miles west of Easton, shortly before 10:00 p.m.

The events unfolded when a semi-truck hit a concrete Jersey barrier, causing the truck to roll over while pushing the barrier into the eastbound lanes. Three oncoming vehicles then collided with the protruding barriers.

WSP reported minor injuries in the accident, but it was not immediately clear who was hurt and whether they were transported to a hospital.

The interstate was closed in both directions overnight and reopened almost seven hours later at 4:45 a.m. the next morning.

No further updates have been shared.
