Motorcyclist hospitalized after collision in Everett’s Port Gardner

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries early Monday after a crash with a car in the Port Gardner area of Everett, reports My Everett News.

Everett Police Safety Traffic Detectives responded to the scene near 41st Street and Colby Avenue shortly before 3:15 a.m.

It is unclear what led up to the accident, but a motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Photos taken at the scene show the motorcycle overturned across two lanes after it had traveled half a block past the intersection. The involved car appears to have sustained significant damage to its front-left side.

The intersection was shut down during the response and was expected to remain closed for some time.
