KING COUNTY, WA — A 33-year-old man died Sunday morning after being hit by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle in the East Hill-Meridian area near Kent, according to Kent Reporter.
Kent police responded to the scene at the intersection of 124th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 202nd Place shortly after 3:00 a.m.
Officers arrived to find the rider in critical condition. He was later pronounced deceased at the scene. A report by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office said he died from “multiple blunt force injuries.”
The causing driver, a 45-year-old woman, was located near the scene and arrested for suspected DUI. She faces a charge of vehicular homicide pending further investigation.
Authorities said the case is being handled by the Kent Police Traffic Unit.
