Motorcycle crashes in Kennewick, driver flees, leaves one injured

KENNEWICK, WA – Kennewick Police are searching for a person who was seen speeding on a motorcycle near Carmichael and Jean Street before crashing and fleeing Tuesday night.

KOMO News reported that the accident happened around 8 p.m. Police witnessed a motorcycle speeding before it crashed at the intersection. One person on the motorcycle fled the scene, leaving a second, seriously injured person at the scene. The injured person was taken to an area hospital in an unknown condition.

Officials utilized K-9 units in an attempt to track down the suspect but were unsuccessful.
