Medics respond to multi-vehicle rollover on I-5 in central Bellingham

State troopers, Bellingham police, and emergency medics responded to the scene on the southbound lanes of I-5 near North State Street shortly after 2:00 p.m.
An early investigation found a small red passenger car lost control and rolled over as it turned onto the highway from North State Street. A Washington Trails Association (WTA) van, a Chevrolet Equinox, and a semi truck failed to brake in time and were all impacted in a chain-reaction collision.
