SEATTLE, WA – An unidentified man threw a large rock at a passing car on Interstate 90 near the Mt. Baker tunnel on Sept. 5, narrowly missing the woman who was driving the car.
According to King 5 News, the driver, Leigh Potashnick, was uninjured, though her windshield was completely shattered and the backseat damaged. The rock that hurtled through her car was about the size of a mason jar.
Potashnick said the man was standing on the side of the road near the tunnel when he aimed the rock at her windshield. King 5 did not report that the suspect was apprehended.
