Man injured in US-101 southbound crash near Bees Mill

JEFFERSON COUNTY, WA — A 21-year-old Port Orchard man was injured early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle collision on US Route 101 southbound near Bees Mill, according to The Leader.
Washington State Patrol said the incident happened near Milepost 302 on US-101 southbound west of Bees Mill at around 2:00 a.m.
The man was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt in a southbound course when he lost control of the vehicle at a curve on a hilly stretch of the highway over Spencer Creek. The vehicle was reported to have rolled over a number of times before landing on its tires.
The driver was transported to Port Townsend’s Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center.
WSP said the driver will be charged with speeding in the zone and for not having worn a seatbelt.
