Man injured in 2-vehicle crash on Hwy 20 near Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND, WA – One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Port Townsend on Saturday afternoon, the Port Townsend Leader reports.
The collision happened on Highway 20 near its intersection with Highway 19 at about 1:30 p.m. on March 27. A 23-year-old man from Maple Valley lost control of his 1990 Toyota Corolla and slammed into a 2009 Chevrolet Impala.
The Maple Valley man was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center; his current condition is unknown. The Washington State Patrol believes he caused the crash by driving too fast for conditions, and were prepared to file charges.
The driver of the Impala was unhurt. She has been identified only as a 35-year-old resident of Port Townsend.
