Man injured after two-car crash in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood

SEATTLE, WA — Crews extricated a 71-year-old man from a wreck Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle accident near the Maple Leaf neighborhood in north Seattle, reports Seattle Fire Department.
NE 88th St & 17th Ave NE: Crews are responding to reports of a 2-vehicle collision with one person trapped in their vehicle. Please avoid the area @SDOTtraffic

The crash took place near the Northeast 88th Street and 17th Avenue Northeast intersection shortly before 10:43 a.m.
No details have been provided on the circumstances behind the incident, but crews were able to safely remove the trapped victim.
Medics evaluated the man on scene before transporting him an area hospital. He was listed in stable condition as of late Wednesday morning.
