PASCO, WA – A man who crashed his vehicle twice before it caught fire, and who then left the scene of the crash was discovered urinating in the street and arrested by police yesterday.

According to KOMO News, the first hit-and-run accident occurred Equinox Court at about 11 p.m. when the accused, 39-year-old Juan Lucero, allegedly drove into a basketball goal. The impact pushed the goal into a nearby vehicle and Lucero reportedly fled the scene.

Lucero, operating a 2005 Toyota Highlander, then allegedly collided at the intersection of El Paso Dr and Madison. The vehicle then caught fire, setting nearby shrubbery and trees ablaze.

Lucero reportedly left the second crash on foot and was seen urinating on the sidewalk when police arrived.

He is facing multiple charges, including hit-and-run and possibly a DUI.

No injuries were reported in the collision.
