KING COUNTY, WA — A 58-year-old man was injured Saturday afternoon after his car collided with a speeding vehicle on State Route 523 near Shoreline, reports Washington State Patrol.
The victim was heading westbound in a gray 2007 Toyota Yaris when he attempted to turn onto Meridian Avenue as a 2007 BMW sped through the intersection, causing the vehicles to collide.
The driver of the Toyota, whose injuries weren’t detailed by WSP, was taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
Authorities said the causing driver took off on foot. The BMW was said to have had one passenger, though their condition and/or whereabouts were not confirmed.
