Man fatally struck by car after running into traffic in Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY, WA — Police said a man was fatally struck by a vehicle early Thursday morning after running into traffic, according to KOMO News.
The incident began around 2:30 a.m. when authorities responded to a call at a Chevron gas station at 35505 Pacific Highway South.
Not long after, a 42-year-old man who appeared to be suffering from a mental crisis removed all his clothes and darted into highway traffic. He laid down on the road in front of oncoming traffic and was then struck by a car.
The man died at the scene of the incident from severe injuries.
