Major collision in Kirkland backs up traffic three miles Thursday

KIRKLAND, WA – A major collision on Interstate 405 and 70th Street northeast blocked all but two lanes of traffic Thursday afternoon, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Update 3:13 PM : On I-405 northbound at NE 70th St there is a collision blocking the 2 HOV lanes.

Traffic was backed up about three miles following this collision as first responders blocked off all but two lanes of the highway.
The accident occurred around 3:15 p.m. and wasn’t cleared until 4:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.
