Lynnwood, Washington – Firefighter Injured in Mobile Home Fire

Lynnwood, Washington (March 26, 2019) – A Snohomish County firefighter suffered minor injuries in a response to a fire at Serene Terrace Mobile Home Park, the call coming from 14300 Admiralty Way. The firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment, and he was soon released. A man inside a mobile home was rescued in the fire, and though he was reported to have no injuries, he suffered from smoke inhalation and was also taken to a hospital.

The man had to be waken up to go outside his mobile home, which did not have any working fire alarms. A neighbor alerted a deputy, who then made enough noise to wake up the man. Aside from the mobile home, a truck next to the location was also affected by fire. The cause of fire is under investigation, though it seems to be accidental in nature.
