MASON COUNTY, WA – A log truck lost its load of massive logs Wednesday around 2:00 p.m., causing US 101 at Virginia Avenue to shut down.
Avoid the area if you can while crews clear the road. Thank you for your patience.

According to Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the road was blocked for about half an hour while crews cleared the road. No one was injured in the accident.
A second accident occurred minutes after the logs were cleared from the first one. Again, there were no injuries in the second collision, but cleaning crews needed to clear logs a second time.
