Late-night motorcycle crash in Yelm leaves two dead, one injured

YELM, WA – Two people were killed and another was seriously hurt after a motorcycle and a car collided in Thurston County late last night, according to KOMO News.

The accident happened at about 11 p.m. in Yelm, in the 12900 block of Bald Hill Rd SE when a motorcyclist crossed over the center line and into the lane of oncoming traffic. The motorcycle then collided with another vehicle head-on.

The man operating the motorcycle and his passenger died as a result of the crash.

The other driver survived the immediate crash but was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe wounds.

None of the victims have been publicly identified at this time.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.
