Kennewick, Washington (April 20, 2020) – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving a car and an ATV at the intersection of Fairway Street and South Oak Street on Monday night. According to the article from KEPR News, the injured patient was taken to a hospital, but no word has been given regarding the patient’s condition. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

According to information from the Kennewick Police Department, shortly before 9 p.m., an Acura passenger car and an ATV crashed into each other. The cause and circumstances of the crash have not yet been reported and it is yet to be determined who is at fault.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
