Injuries reported in two-vehicle crash in north Tacoma

TACOMA, WA — Injuries were sustained late Sunday afternoon in a crash involving two vehicles in the North End neighborhood of Tacoma, according to Tacoma Police Department.

The crash happened at the intersection of North 18th Street and North Orchard Street and was reported by Tacoma police at 4:30 p.m. The incident forced the intersection to be completely shut down.

Drivers in the area were encouraged to divert through other routes.

At 8:34 p.m., four hours after the initial report, Tacoma police reported the intersection was reopened.

No other information has been reported on the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries.
