Injuries reported in multi-vehicle crash in Renton intersection

RENTON, WA — Injuries were reported Sunday afternoon after a multi-car collision near a popular shopping center in Renton, according to Renton Police Department.

The accident took place at the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Grady Way located just south of the Renton Shopping Center. It was reported by Renton police at 2:32 p.m.
Travelers in the area were warned of traffic congestion caused by the crash and were advised to detour through alternate routes.
At 3:06 p.m. Renton police updated to report the accident had been cleared.
No other information has been reported regarding the number of people involved or the extent of injuries sustained.
