I-90 near North Bend blocked in both directions due to multiple collisions

NORTH BEND, WA – Interstate 90 was blocked in both directions from milepost 34 to milepost 106, a distance of about 80 miles, on Tuesday due to multiple accidents and spinouts, according to Trooper John Bryant.
I-90 is closed in both directions from milepost 34 near North Bend to milepost 106 near Ellensburg due to multiple spun out vehicles and collisions. Estimated time to reopen the roadway is unknown.

Washington State Trooper Bryant did not report any injuries associated with these accidents but emphasized the backup they would cause. Bryant did not have an estimated time for reopening the interstate. The Washington State Department of Transportation reported that snow on the roadway likely was a factor in the multiple accidents.
