Hit-and-run victim found dead in Seattle neighborhood bushes

SEATTLE, WA – A man who was found dead in a West Seattle residential area has been identified as a hit-and-run victim who was intentionally targeted, according to authorities.

Investigators have determined that the victim is 34-year-old Derrick Lacomb. Witnesses called police to the 6500 block of 25th Avenue SW on Tuesday when they saw his body in some bushes.

According to KOMO News, police believe the person who struck and killed Lacomb did so intentionally but they do not know the driver’s motive yet or if they knew Lacomb.

Police are currently working to identify the hit-and-run driver.
