According to KOMO News, the driver and passenger were still trapped inside the vehicle when first responders arrived at the scene. The two victims were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in unknown conditions.
Police believe that the Tesla was speeding northbound on 108th Ave when the driver lost control and struck the power poles before coming to a rest in the southbound lane. No other vehicles were involved, but about 200 people in the area lost power due to the downed power lines.
