Girl in critical condition after being hit by driver in Richland

RICHLAND, WA – A child was left in critical condition after being hit by a driver in northern Richland on Friday afternoon, according to KEPR TV.

The crash happened on Spengler Street and Hood Avenue at about 2 p.m., when a little girl attempted to cross the street. She was then struck by a driver.

The girl was taken to the hospital with critical, severe injuries.

The driver remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation, which continues at this time.

The family has created a GoFundMe in order to raise funds for the victim.
