Franklin County, Washington – Woman Hospitalized Following Rollover Crash at State Route 17

Franklin County, Washington (December 13, 2019) – A woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash near milepost 8 of State Route 17 on early Friday morning. The driver, Carla Mejia, was taken to Lourdes Medical Center. No further word has been given regarding her condition.

According to the information from the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:52 a.m., twelve miles south of Connell. Mejia was reported to have been driving too fast for the icy road conditions and lost control of her vehicle, causing her to car to roll off the highway. She was reported to have been wearing a seat belt at the tine of the accident.
