Four people, including 2 children, injured in head-on crash Sunday

DEER CREEK, WA – Four people were injured Sunday morning when a dump truck veered across the center lane and struck their vehicle head-on.
According to Mason Web TV, the accident occurred on State Route 3 just south of Deer Creek Rd. A 1997 Freightliner dump truck hit a 2012 Dodge Journey head-on, sending four people ages 8, 10, 30, and 34 to Mason General Hospital.
The 60-year-old dump truck driver was not injured.
Officials are still investigating this accident but do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
