SEATAC, WA — Four people were injured and dozens displaced Saturday evening after a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex in SeaTac, according to KOMO News.

Fire crews responded to the incident at the Hanover Apartment Homes complex in the 3100 block of South 192nd Street at around 11:30 p.m.

A number of people were rescued from balconies as flames engulfed the building. It took crews about 90 minutes to contain the fire, in addition to time spend into the morning extinguishing leftover hotspots.

Four people were transported to a nearby hospital, including two with critical injuries and two others with serious injuries. Among those injured is one infant.

No firefighters were reported injured following the response.

As a result of the fire, 85 people have lost their residences and dozens of vehicles were destroyed.

The Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority said the cause of fire is likely arson. One person believed to be a resident of the building has since been arrested and booked into King County Jail.

An early investigation found the fire to have started on the first floor near the middle of the complex. An investigation into the cause remains in progress.
