Four-car pileup caused by unsecured ladder in Port Orchard

PORT ORCHARD, WA – A four-vehicle accident was caused when an unsecured ladder fell off a car into the road on State Highway 16 on Tuesday.
According to a Washington State Trooper, a vehicle was on SR-16 near SR-166 when the ladder that was unsecured fell into the roadway on Tuesday afternoon. A four-vehicle collided, involving a red Jeep and a black Kia, resulted from the carelessness.
Thankfully, all parties escaped injury.
Law enforcement took the opportunity to remind drivers of the importance of securing their load to their vehicle so that everyone can be safe.
An unsecured ladder fell from a vehicle and landed in the roadway, resulting in a 4-car collision on SR 16 at SR 166 near #PortOrchard this afternoon.
