Five people hospitalized after suspected DUI crash in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA — Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash caused by a suspected DUI driver Tuesday night in Tacoma, according to KIRO 7 News.

The crash occurred around 7 p.m. in the 1500 block of Marine View Drive.

According to police, the suspected driver is a 30-year-old woman who was attempting to turn into a parking lot when her vehicle struck a car, causing that car to strike two other cars.

Investigators said the woman will face vehicular assault charges for driving under the influence.
