Fire crews respond to collision in Seattle’s Pike Pine Retail Core

SEATTLE, WA — Fire crews responded to the scene of a serious crash Wednesday morning in the Pike Pine Retail Core neighborhood north of downtown Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.


The crash occurred at the intersection of 1st Avenue South and Virginia Street and was first reported by Seattle Fire at 7:55 a.m.

Crews were called for a rescue extrication response, suggesting a significant crash with injuries and vehicle damages amounting to total loss.

No further information has been reported confirming the number of vehicles involved or injuries sustained.

Motorists were advised to detour around the area.
