Graham Fire and Rescue reported via Twitter that everyone in the house made it out safe, but firefighters recovered their dog, who had died in the fire.
Photos from the scene show flames leaping dozens of feet into the air and jumping onto nearby trees. The house was engulfed in the flames and is likely a total loss.
South Pierce Fire and Rescue also assisted with extinguishing the flames. Officials are investigating the cause of this 2-alarm fire.
