Everett, Washington – Motorcyclist Injured Following a Collision with a Car

Everett, Washington (August 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car at the 5100 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast on Friday afternoon. The victim, a 50 year-old man from Snohomish, was taken to a local hospital. The car driver was uninjured and stayed on the scene to cooperate with the officials.

According to witness reports, the victim had turned out of a business and was attempting to cross two westbound lanes when he was struck by the car. The circumstances of the crash has not been fully determined.

While motorcycles are a much-depended means of transportation, drivers should consider factors such as speed, number of other vehicles on the road, the road conditions and weather to ensure their safety while out and about. Be especially cautious when driving at night, as with any other vehicle. Any mistakes in judgement can lead to accidents, injuries and damage not only to your person, but on other people as well.
