Emumclaw, Washington – Suspects Injured After Crashing Into Home During Chase

Emumclaw, Washington (February 12, 2020) – Two suspects were injured after crashing into a home at Harding Street and Griffin Avenue during a chase that occurred on Wednesday night. According to the report from KOMO News, both the driver and a passenger inside the car sustained minor injuries in the incident and were treated at the scene.Both suspects were also arrested following the incident. Fortunately no officers and residents of the house were injured in the incident.

The incident started just before Wednesday midnight when a police officer attempted to pull over the suspects’ vehicle for running the red light. The suspect stopped for the officer, but put the car in reverse and rammed the officer’s vehicle before fleeing. The chase lasted for about half a mile and ended when the suspect lost control and crashed into the entry way of the residence. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and other potential felonies, while the passenger was found to have drugs and was also found to have an outstanding felony warrant.
