Eastbound lanes of US 12 blocked near Elderberry St due to collision

GRAND MOUND, WA – The eastbound lanes of US Highway 12 at Elderberry St SW were blocked on Thursday morning due to a car accident, WSDOT reports.
Updated: Collision on US 12 EB, at MP 46.37 near Elderberry St SW. Beginning at 7:17 am on Jan. 28, 2021 until further notice. The EB lanes are blocked. Traffic is able to proceed using the left-turn lane.

According to a tweet from WSDOT Tacoma, the accident happened around 7:17 a.m. Drivers used the left turn lane to get past the accident. WSDOT did not report any injuries.
