Driver pulled from car following crash near Paine Field

SNOHOMISH CO., WA – Emergency responders pulled a motorist from their car following a two-vehicle collision near Paine Field last week.
KIRO 7 reports that the accident happened on 40th Avenue and WA-526 at about 5 p.m. on Thursday. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find one of the vehicles on the roadway and the other at the bottom of an embankment. They extricated one driver and then took that person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The other driver was uninjured and declined transport.
Investigations into the crash were ongoing as of that evening.
