Driver of stolen vehicle crashes into Mill Creek patrol car
Request Free ConsultationSNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A patrol car was hit by a stolen vehicle Friday afternoon as the suspect evaded police near Mill Creek’s Wintermutes Corner, reports KIRO 7 News.
Mill Creek police said officers were dispatched to an area near Bothell Everett Highway and 164th Street Southeast after receiving a report about an erratic driver.
Officers spotted the suspect driver in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex and attempted to contact the man as he backed into a parking space.
The man then nearly hit officers as he struck the side of an unoccupied police cruiser.
No one was reported injured in the incident.
Authorities were unable to locate the vehicle after the driver fled the scene, but an investigation was in progress as of Saturday.
