Driver loses control and crashes into Mercer Island QFC

MERCER ISLAND, WA – A driver crashed their vehicle into the front of a QFC supermarket on Mercer Island in an accident Wednesday evening.
According to the Mercer Island Reporter, the driver lost control of their station wagon in the parking lot and crashed into the south entrance in the 8400 block of SE 68th Street at about 6 p.m.
The QFC stayed opened after the incident as all damage was cosmetic.
No one was injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
