FEDERAL WAY, WA — A male driver has died following a collision between two pickup trucks Tuesday evening in Federal Way, according to KIRO 7 News Staff.
Authorities responded to the scene at the 37300 block of Pacific Highway South around 5:15 p.m.
Investigators say the driver of one pickup truck that was pulling a utility trailer was stalled to make a left turn at the time the second pickup truck struck the trailer’s rear. The driver of the second pickup truck succumbed to the serious injuries sustained in the crash.
While the cause of the incident is still unknown, police do not believe impairment played a role.
The investigation is ongoing.
