Driver falls asleep at the wheel, crashes in Clallum County

PORT ANGELES, WA – A driver veered off Highway 101 east of Port Angeles on Tuesday evening, overturning their car.

According to Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the accident occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
Trooper Hodgson attached a photo of the accident that shows the white pickup truck upside-down in the vegetation next to the highway.
Hodgson confirmed that the driver did not sustain any injuries in the crash and warned against driving while drowsy. Hodgson did not reveal any additional details about the driver or if there were passengers in the truck.
