Driver dies in fiery rollover accident in Renton

RENTON, WA – A motorist died late Tuesday night after losing control of their vehicle and rolling onto a neighborhood lawn at the 12400 Blk of SE Petrovitsky Road.
BE ADVISED: Fatality vehicle accident, 12400 Blk of SE Petrovitsky Rd. Vehicle flipped and ended up in yard of residence and caught fire. Please avoid the area as roads are closed for traffic investigation. /clm

According to Renton Police, the accident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, which caught fire after it flipped and landed in a residential yard.
Renton Police believe excessive speed was the cause of this accident. Roads in that area were blocked Tuesday night while police investigated.
