Driver dead after rear-ending car, semi-truck on SR 167

SUMNER, WA – One person was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on State Route 167 yesterday afternoon, according to KOMO News.

The crash happened on southbound SR-167, near milepost 8.35 and State Route 410, at about 1:30 p.m., when a pickup truck crashed into the rear of another car. The car was sent into a ditch, and the pickup truck then rear-ended a semi-truck.

The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene.

The other drivers were not hurt in the crash.
