Driver arrested for DUI after causing 5-car crash on Capitol Hill

SEATTLE, WA – One driver is in custody on suspicion of driving under the influence after causing a five-vehicle collision on Bellevue Ave and E Pike St.
Officers are clearing the scene of this 5-vehicle collision in #CapitolHill at Bellevue Ave and E Pike St. One driver is in custody for investigation of DUI and was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Seattle police reported the incident via Twitter at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday night. The causing driver suspected of DUI was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. The other people involved in the accident only sustained minor injuries.
