Dayton, Washington – Five People Injured When Car Collides with Guardrail, Rolls Over at Highway 12

Dayton, Washington (January 13, 2020) – Five people injured when a car crashed on Highway near State Route 261 on Monday night. According to the report from KEPR News, the vehicle was being driven by Rafel Meras, and was occupied by four other passengers. All five occupants sustained undisclosed injuries in the incident and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the information from the Washington State Patrol, Meras was heading west on the highway around 11:17 p.m. Just as the vehicle was approaching State Route 261, Meras lost control of his vehicle, which caused his car to crash into a guardrail. This in turn caused the car to roll over. Troopers have said that Meras was driving too fast for the road conditions, and he is facing pending charges for the wreck.
