Crews respond to truck crash on SR-509 SB in Seattle’s South Park

SEATTLE, WA — Crews were called to a crash scene Monday morning involving an overturned flatbed truck on state Route 509 southbound near the South Park neighborhood in Seattle, according to Seattle Fire Department.
Rescue extrication response at SB SR-509 at Cloverdale for a flatbed truck on its side. Crews investigating, expect traffic delays.

The crash took place in the southbound lanes of SR-509 at South Cloverdale Street in south Seattle and was first reported at 7:49 a.m.
Little information has been reported about the incident at this time, but personnel with Seattle Fire were assigned to perform a rescue extrication response, suggesting at least one person was injured and trapped in the vehicle.
Morning commuters were told to expect delays as crews investigated.
