Crews respond to multi-vehicle collision on I-405 near Southcenter
Request Free ConsultationKING COUNTY, WA — Emergency crews responded to a crash Wednesday morning involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 405 near Southcenter in Tukwila, reports Washington State Department of Transportation.
On I-405 southbound at SR 181 there is a collision blocking the HOV lane and the 2 right general purpose lanes.

The crash took place shortly before noon on the southbound lanes of the interstate approaching State Route 181
It is unclear what led up to the accident, but the HOV lane and two right general purpose lanes were shut down.
Video shared by WSDOT suggests at least four vehicles, including a big rig, were impacted by the event.

Authorities have not said whether any significant injuries were sustained, but emergency crews and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team were at the scene.
