Crash on I-5 and Mercer St leads to traffic delays in Capitol Hill

SEATTLE, WA – A collision on I-5 led to traffic delays and closures in the Capitol Hill area last night, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

On I-5 southbound just north of Mercer St there is a collision blocking the left lane.

The collision occurred on I-5 southbound, near Mercer Street, at about 9:45 p.m.

The left lane was blocked as a result of the crash.

It is unclear at this point what led to the accident or if anyone was injured as a result. Check back later for further details.
