Collision closes lane on I-5 NB near Lake Samish in Bellingham

WHATCOM COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident early Monday morning was blocking the left lane on Interstate 5 northbound north of Lake Samish in southeast Bellingham, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
Update 3:06 AM : On I-5 northbound at Samish Way there is a collision blocking the left lane.

The crash happened on a stretch of I-5 northbound approaching South Samish Way and was first reported by WSDOT at 3:10 a.m.
No other details have been reported about the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
